Hel Cabaret is an industrial, alternative and metal cabaret located in the heart of Edinburgh. Founded in 2023, it was created to bridge the gap between metal club nights, late-night fetish events and alternative burlesque. Hel brings fire, burlesque, gorelesque, pole, excitement and debauchery to an evening performance.
It is a space built to support both performers and audience members, offering a place where darker, heavier, horror-inspired and boundary-pushing performance art can thrive, and where guests are welcome to be themselves without judgment.

Hel Cabaret is committed to maintaining a safe and respectful environment. Photography and video recording of performers is not allowed unless you are an official photographer for the event or have received clear and explicit consent directly from the performer. Consent must never be assumed.
Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated. This includes verbal or physical harassment, sexual or kink behaviour without consent, persistent unwanted attention, making comments about someone’s body or appearance, continued attempts to speak to someone who has indicated they are not interested, staring, or invading someone’s space. If someone expresses or implies they do not want to interact, the interaction ends there.

Discrimination will also not be tolerated. This includes racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, body-shaming or any other form of discriminatory or hateful behaviour. Hel Cabaret is dedicated to diversity, inclusion and equality, and to ensuring the event remains welcoming to everyone.
Anyone who feels uncomfortable, unsafe, or witnesses behaviour that violates this code of conduct is encouraged to speak to a member of staff or to contact Hel directly by email or through our contact form. Concerns will be taken seriously and handled respectfully.
Hel Cabaret is a community as much as it is an event. Our aim is to continue cultivating a space where alternative performance art and heavy music can be celebrated, where people feel free to express themselves, and where all are treated with dignity and respect. Thank you for helping us maintain the atmosphere that makes Hel what it is.
Enjoy the show, take care of one another, and embrace the darkness.
